Avenatti is NO DOUBT the person HRC needed in 2016 when 60% of her coverage was about emails!!!

Not tryin to drudge crap up but I believe this is needed.

"Going high" doesn't mean dems should take shot guns to a tank fight, get a tank buster and don't put up with handling America's media with ... JUST ... the truth, facts and adult logic.

That tank buster is Avenatti tactics and the way he handles the media, the opposite of the dark side of Benedict Donald presents.

- He's delivers 100% damn near every time
- He knows how to make a story and get the facts out were its hard to deny them and gets good coverage.
- He knows how to scare folk so they don't go on talking head shows and just spout off false crap and get bent in court.

Dems should put this guy on retainer !! Or at the least adopt some of the tactics and play them to the bone against the culture of stupid in the KGOP.

Basta Man's tactics work, they've proved to work over and over again and it looks like he wants to do the right thing by America.

Lets get some and take the bastards who steal helpless peoples kids by the thousands down

Your take?

Tia

Trump does it well. We do not.

Time to stop wishing the rules would go back to what they were. Not going to happen. Americans are now consuming their information at such a speed that 140 characters is "in depth" and emojis are "superficial".

So yeah - it's sensationalist by one measure, and by another, it's simply being heard.

Time for Dems to be heard.

The dems have let the repubs frame the narrative for over 35 years. You're right. It's a different world & they better adapt.

Dems have tried to be accurate IMHO, they have nothing to fear employing this tactic when it comes to the culture of lie from the KGOP.

in politics it seems. Avenatti understands the media; they are so much more like the National Enquirer than they are respectable news organizations. He gets that and uses it to his (and fortunately for us right now, our) advantage.

Joe Biden has a bit of this in him, albeit likely unintended. He stands a good chance in 2020 because of that in my view. He's likable to many.

Apparently the GOPers are not disturbed by his guerilla warfare techniques. Their institutional candidates use them. Democrats can't get away with that -we actually think about the implications of these actions for the institution as a whole.

The GOP are closer to anarchists than a functioning political party.

It was blatantly against State Department regulations per the State Department Inspector General. She doesn't have that, there's no Comey announcement and she's almost certainly president.

As for Avenatti, exactly what has he done? He's gotten a lot of attention to himself, but I don't see any real world consequences.

Come on, lets not go through this again

Basta Man was needed in 2016 cause of the amount of disinformation regarding this issue alone.

they would have told her and she would have made a change. Nobody ever said "this is against the rules" because it wasn't.

The State Department Inspector General's office was taken over by the Republicans, and specifically Sen. Charles Grassley's political allies. Their report was designed to damage the Democratic candidate for president, as was their ludicrous request for an FBI investigation.
