sounds like it's from "Foreign Correspondent," an old Hitchcock flick wherein Joel McCrea says almost exactly those words.. Sorry if wrong, I'm brand new here.

I don't see a reference to the lights dialog from the end of the movie. But I didn't go to the Twitter page posted about here.

That scene in the movie always grips my heart. I saw it recently and felt that we've lost that standing in the world after under two years of Trump in the White House.
