Michael Avenatti won in suit against Trump in the mid 2000s.
Until today I don't think I ever heard Trump say much about Michael Avenatti.
Considering that Avenatti took it to Trump's face with the Stormy Dainels suit, Trump was rather muted when it came to put downs thrown around at Avenatti.
While reading about Avenatti's client and the fact that the right and 4chan tried to punk him with the rumor that Avenatti was taken for a fool over his client and 4chan before the release of information and news over Avenatti's latest client, and why he shut down his twitter yesterday, I found out that Avenatti has a degree in Political Science, graduated first in his law class and did oppo research while in school.
Curious, I looked up his Wiki page and found this little nugget:
'Avenatti later joined Greene Broillet & Wheeler, a Los Angeles boutique law firm. While there, he handled a number of high-profile cases, including a $10 million defamation case against Paris Hilton,[30] settled an idea-theft lawsuit relating to the show The Apprentice and against producers Mark Burnett and Donald Trump,.....'
Soooooo, long before there was a Stormy Daniels suit Avenatti beat Trump in a suit in 2006.
Trump is familiar with this guy.
