Michael Pillsbury (Chinese: 白邦瑞; pinyin: Bái Bāngruì; born February 8, 1945) is the Director of the Center on Chinese Strategy, Hudson Institute, 1201 Pennsylvania Ave, Washington DC, 2014–present. He is the author of three books on China, the most recent one is an international bestseller, The Hundred-Year Marathon.

Long history in mainly Republican service. There is more at the wiki article. He's going to be well known soon.
