If Any Of His Actions Qualify As Crimes...

And the Statute Of Limitations is still open, what is the argument for not just filing a complaint with the local District Attorney to investigate?

Are these women afraid to pursue this in court? I can't imagine that Mr. Avenatti would have any hesitation to have them press charges, or begin the process.

Do they still have some respect for Mr. Kavanaugh, and not want to destroy his career and life? Same with Mr. Judge.

Or is there simply not enough evidence to pursue a case?

I realize we're living through an alternate reality, and so there are no lines he can cross that will convince 2 out of 51 repubs to vote against him. But wouldn't an indictment, or Grand Jury proceedings be something that would blow up his nomination? Why not just go over Congress' head if they're just putting on a dog & pony show and intend on backing Kavanaugh no matter what?

And no guarantee of ever getting you money back.
Probably Kavanaugh would have an unlimited budget from conservative donations.

And wouldn't the DA be the one to incur the expense of prosecution?
