Avenatti calls Trump a 'moron,' challenges him to debate over Kavanaugh sexual assault accusation

Michael Avenatti on Wednesday blasted President Trump as a "moron" and accused him of trying to divert attention away from the woman who most recently accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct.

"Trump is a moron," Avenatti, an attorney representing the woman accusing Kavanaugh, tweeted. "He knows nothing about me or my client. He is trying to divert attention away from Julie as a smokescreen.

"I challenge him to debate me regarding Kavanaugh and his accusers and our respective backgrounds. He will never agree because he is a coward and weak."

Avenatti, who is also representing adult-film star Stormy Daniels in her case against the president and his former lawyer, added in a subsequent tweet that he is "thoroughly enjoying living rent free" in the president's head.
