Wayfair Ads: They're Jumping the Shark, now with 2 Different ones inferring cheating spouse.

.

I'm watching Lawrence O'Donnell's show, and within 30 minutes, I've seen one ad where the husband thought the wife was cheating, and another where a friend suspects her friend is cheating on her husband.

They shift from light and fun ads to this theme, where the wife is possibly cheating. Why?

Which is surprising since they are on all the time. Maybe I'm not paying attention.

The ones I hated were when the buyer (cost conscious, right?) places the order and then drops their phone or tablet. You don't see the result, but it can't be good. So is Wayfair for rich people who can afford to break their stuff or for people who want to save money? I always thought that was a terribly mixed message.

I'll have to watch for these new ones. I think they need to review their ad agency.
