Displaying how little the process had been rehearsed, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) interrupted the Republicans’ attorney, Rachel Mitchell, to ask how he should cut across her questioning to proceed to the next Democrat in line.

but boy are the Republicans incompetent here. Any utility of bringing the prosecutor in has reversed because a good cross examination slowly ramps up and builds, and that isn't possible here, so any chance of effectively impeaching her is pretty unlikely unless there's some bomb drop coming none of us know about.
