Graham is damn near hysterical on MSNBC now.

Attacking the victim. Suggesting she is a paid operative.

Graham would be the type of cop who would ask a rape victim what she was wearing.

ETA: Homophobia is an extension of sexism. One blends effortlessly into the other.

Gay men are attacked as less than men usually by insults which highlight how a sexist sees women.

As less, as weak, as not a man. As not strong. As fragile.

Gay men are men. They are male.

Insulting someone you think is gay is also an insult to women. Insulting actual gay men is the same. And it is wrong in and of itself.

As a woman, please, don't think you're supporting women when you attack a man in the same terms a sexist uses to insult women.

Don't like what I just said - leave the thread. Put me on ignore.

I don't care.

Just stop with the insults to gay men AND women.

July 2017: "Sen. Lindsey Graham vows 'holy hell to pay' if Attorney General Jeff Sessions is fired"
https://www.cnn.com/2017/07/27/politics/lindsey-graham-holy-hell-jeff-sessions/index.html

August-Sept 2018: "Graham says Trump-Sessions relationship is 'beyond repair'"; But now, Graham says "we need an attorney general that can work with the president." This past week, he even alleged on CBS News that Sessions "blindsided" Trump with "zero-tolerance" family separations — as though that policy wasn't a Trump signature; "“The president’s entitled to an attorney general he has faith in, somebody that’s qualified for the job, and I think there will come a time, sooner rather than later, where it will be time to have a new face and a fresh voice at the Department of Justice,” Graham told reporters."

that some of this may be his inability to cope with the loss of his "other half" - McCain. McCain seemed to be Graham's "moral center" (however far the GOP manages to actually have "morals" ) and now that he is gone, Graham is all over the map like a spinning top.

It's just like when Clarence Thomas lost his joined-at-the-hip partner Scalia, he is (they are) floating in a netherworld.

Has nothing to do with being gay, has everything to do with having a subordinate's personality. Lots of those type of guys in the military, especially in the Officer's corps.
You find them on the second and third rows of the Org. charts. If not acting independently, they typically won't actually lead more than a small group of people - in fact, most of them, while enjoying the perks of being "in charge" and "respected", are unable to take the amount of responsibility to be actually in charge of much more than a platoon or office division; but - you can count on them to be fiercely loyal to whomever actually is in charge...

Before, he had John McCain to be his C.O. buddy. Once it was clear John wasn't going to be around for very much longer, he found Trump to be his C.O. buddy.

So, what you see is a Jr. Executive channeling his new leader.
