2) The way it is now, neither party is incentivized to pick the most experienced, wisest jurist; they pick the youngest judge they can get away with.

unless the People can vote them up-or-down every 10-20 years. Term Limits is not the problem. End the Electoral College. End gerrymandering. Make it easy for everyone to vote in every election. End the Term Limits for President... the People should have the right to keep an FDR, when one comes along.
Calculating
(2,955 posts)If only to keep all the 80+ year olds off the court. Too old and out of touch with modern issues. Don't get me wrong, I loved my grandparents, but I wouldn't want them anywhere near the SCOTUS. We need people on the SCOTUS who still have a stake in the game so to speak.
