(16,950 posts)vote. I think I see what you mean...that there will be a vote Friday, and then the full Senate vote Saturday? Not sure about that.

(1,922 posts)Committee vote is 930 tomorrow. Saturday is the procedural vote to end the debate and proceed to the confirmation vote. Earliest they can vote to confirm, if the procedural vote passes Saturday, is Monday I believe. If the procedural vote passes, then expect the same vote, or more, for confirmation.

(26,727 posts)Even without the possibility of a filibuster, theres still a requirement (absent unanimous consent) for 30 hours of debate after the cloture vote... so they need to get that clock ticking.
