It is a sham. Made me sick. I cringe when I think how this debacle will be covered by history. I want the whole truth about all of this to come forward to the American citizens. Sadly, many will not be paying attention to what is happening right under their noses. And this Senate committee knows it.

We are witnessing the death of our Democracy in real time. Emotionally, I still can’t believe it, but intellectually I know it is true. I am leaving the country next week on a much anticipated trip to France. I need the break from this because it is breaking my heart and my spirit. I plan to monitor the situation from afar, but for my emotional and physical health I have to say enough is enough. I am not throwing in the towel, but a period of some detachment is necessary. I know the good people here will continue the fight to vigorously defend our Democracy.
