until and FBI investigation is done. There would either be an investigation or the nominee would withdrawal. Of course I know they will not have the courage to do it.

I'm at the point where if this is where America wants to go, I am not sure I want to live out my remaining days here.

(2,785 posts)I had a bad feeling when that meeting between Flake,Collins,Murkowski and Manchin was reported. 3 republicans and only 1 Democrat and Manchin was one of the few Democratic Senators who did not call for Franken to resign.

(14,784 posts)and point to a name and say "We want this one. We won't vote for any other." and that person -- already being a Federalist Society wet dream -- would get a yes vote from every other GOPer and a handful of Dems. All it requires is that the two of them stick together.
They are entirely in the position of power to dictate to others what is going to happen, but they act like they are under siege instead.
