The GOP wants a SCOTUS Justice who deserves to be under criminal investigation? Okay then, but now they cannot pretend this wasn't what they insisted upon. If the White House and Senate won't vet SCOTUS Justices properly, the American people and media will have to do so. Even if it is after the fact. Even if it is slow. Even if it is clumsy and hamstrung by the feeble or convoluted routes and methods available to us.
Every single person who has been wronged by Brett Kavanaugh needs to be shown that the majority of Americans will support them and back them up if they come forward. And that local law enforcement will take their accusations seriously, in cases where that is relevant. This begins with how we treat the 3 known accusers even after he gets confirmed.
It may not be quick -- look how long it took to get a modicum of justice for Bill Cosby -- but we will get there eventually if we keep at it. This is too important to just throw up our hands in despair and move on to the next thing.

We need to emulate them.
