Rejoice! Freeper says he hasn't been this discouraged since 2008.

JimRob nearly blew a gasket urging McConnell to take the vote today.

Lots of tooth gnashing going on.

One of them is convinced that Dr. Ford is a product of MK-Ultra.

I work with a bunch of trumpkins and you would think they lost everything yesterday. All they are doing is repeating the republican talking heads propaganda.

The Senate has these rules they have to observe about when they can hold votes. The reason for jamming through the Committee vote this morning was so that the Senate could take some formal action on Saturday (the next legislative day) to start the clock on when they could bring Kreepazoid's nomination to the Senate floor for the confirmation vote. They aren't set up to get a committee vote and a floor vote all on the same day.

Curious, though, that the Freepers are so anxious to get Kreepazoid on the Court. What's the big hurry, fellas? The last seat was vacant for more than a year, and this seat still retains residual warmth from Anthony Kennedy's sit-upon.
