clicked on DU, called all of the Dem Judic Comm senators to thank them, continued to listen to Dem senators' remarks, saw Feinstein and Leahy talking with Grassley, heard the news, cried some more.
I went out for a little while and spoke with 3 women and we were all discussing this (total strangers at a car rental place). This is not unusual for me to speak with strangers about the moron since I wear my home made "lock him up" earrings every time I go out. Today was the first time two strangers told me that they were sexually assaulted. If this happens to me, just one person, in such a short amount of time, can you imagine how many there are in the country? We must all speak up and RESIST. Stronger together!

(46,166 posts)Just a fun thing I'm working on that helped me to clear my head after yesterday. It helped a lot. When I got back I read here at DU that Trump approved the investigation.
Here's to hoping that more women with credible stories come forward in the meantime.

(20,873 posts)Was in a room playing bingo and a lady made a comment about Kavanaugh being guilty of assaulting Dr. Ford as part of a joke. My husband and sister who are all on the cruise were nervous there would be maga supporters aboard. Later I heard a lady say yeh orange maggot and all these people booed. There are people from all over the world so its an international group aboard. The next 9 days are going to be interesting.
