Kavanaugh reminds me of Osborne Whitworth! Check this out if you are not a Poldark viewer:

Looks like him, is arrogant and has assaulted women (in character--the actor himself is great). Oh yeah, "allegedly" in the case of Kavanaugh, of course.

And they both like beer.

I hope Brett gets a comeuppance like that!

I was a big fan of the '70's version and Robin Ellis, the original Ross Poldark. Even moreso now because Robin Ellis (who appears in the new series as Judge Halse) loathes Trump and his American-born wife is active in Democrats Abroad (from where they live in France).
