When you are asked a specific question and your immediate - and totally irrelevant - response is about how you were at the top of your class three decades ago, you're not exactly coming across as straightforward and honest.

Kavanaugh's performance yesterday was a disaster - and despite their protestations to the contrary, the Republicans know that.

Because honestly, he really doesn't seem all that smart to me. And I saw his house. He really didn't seem all that rich to me either. I think Brett is suffering from a little insecurity problem.
