From Brian Williams - LA Times reports FBI wants to start interviewing TONIGHT!

The FBI is already trying to schedule interviews.

Can't find the source on the LA Times yet. The FBI is moving fast, they are already talking to the lawyers of other women who have accused Kavanaugh, the one from high school and from Yale.

UPDATE:

The FBI moved immediately given the short time frame. By Friday night, agents had sought to schedule an interview with one of two other women who, after Blasey Ford went public, made accusations of their own about alleged assaults dating to Kavanaugh’s days in high school and at Yale University, according to two sources with knowledge of the investigation who asked to remain unidentified given the sensitivity of the matter.

FBI investigators contacted the attorneys for the woman and asked to interview her “as early as tonight,” according to one of the sources. Her attorneys countered with a later time, but the interview could occur this weekend, the sources said.

Like going to the dentist. Can you imagine asking Kavanaugh something and he gets angry with you. "What did you mean by that?!? I'm worth five times what you are and I went to Yale, where did you go? I didn't say that and you'd better not say I said that or you'll be sorry!". If I were a female FBI agent I would ask to be on any case but that one.

ordered it to proceed ASAP, with overtime pay and everything. He wants it done quickly, so that he can get Kav on the SCOTUS right away.

I wonder which Senator talked him into it, I am damned sure it wasn't Flake.

Graham is not Trump's favorite Senator. They did run against each other two years ago.

My bet is that Yertle the Turtle had to do the closing on this deal. Who does Trump trust more than McConnell in the Senate? Besides, Mitch has been the steady voice of "In the end, we'll get this done." It gives cover to the so-called moderates who are squishy about getting on board the Kavanaugh caravan.

With only a week they'd better rally and strike. Fortunately, this is something they do often, despite claims from republicans.
