Can Clarence Thomas Be Impeached Now?

I think it's becoming undeniable that he lied under oath when he testified before the Senate especially as we now learn there were 3 women waiting in the green room to corroborate Anita Hill's testimony and were never called/allowed to testify.

would be amazing. It would also serve right-wing Ginnie Thomas right considering how she's hounded Ms. Hill all these years.

Remember, conviction following impeachment needs 67 Senators. We don't have them and probably won't.

For a SC justice, if they committed a crime outside their duties as a SC justice such as robbing a bank or shop lifting, absolutely

They would have personally had to commit a crime that fell under the category of "high crimes and misdemeanors." If they were improperly appointed or confirmed that's someone else's crime.

Bringing cases to the court.

The required form states that any error is a criminal offense and "forgetfulness" or any other excuse is not a defense.

Federal Judgrs who make the same offensevlose their seat.

It was an intentional effort to hide income

When Republican's regained power (like they currently have) they would do the same to the more liberal Justices. It would serve to destabilize the institution.

A justice can be impeached at anytime, if there is a reason to do so. But, it also requires having a Senate that is wiling to impeach him. We do not have such a Senate at this time, even if they can come up with the evidence against Thomas. There is no point it right now, anyway. Mushroom Dick would just appoint a younger version of him.
