Going to the farmer's market down in Union Square and walking around the West Village, having lunch, doing a little shopping, coming back home through Central Park. Sometimes I miss New York.

I grew up in a Connecticut suburb 40 minutes away from 42nd Street. I'm channeling Billie Holiday's "Autumn in New York."

9. It's kind of cheesy, but I always loved watching "When Harry Met Sally" around this time of year.

It was such a great "New York" movie, especially the fall scenes and the music! Love Billie Holiday's Autumn in New York as well. Something about that era of music and New York seems to be inseparable.

reason, esp. Annie Hall, Radio Days, Hannah & Her Sisters, and Purple Rose of Cairo, his work during the 70s & 80s.
