My consumer activism against wingnuttiness in local radio, newspaper, and t.v.

I've tracked the local radio wingnuts for 30 years, since before it was wingnut when it was educationally genteel, because I came from a Blue university campus (besides a multi-generationally Blue family), where I naturally eschewed purely entertainment stations for the genteelly educational. Until LIMBOsevic took over. And it's old hat, child's play to skewer them but thanks to Al GORE's internet, my tactic for them is only to monitor them in bits, only for the last few minutes of the half hour when their wingnut Professor type guests are gone. The rest of the time I use TuneIn radio and listen to MSNBC and CNN.

For the local newspaper: I cancelled paying subscription for home delivery several years ago, after a lifetime of newspapers at home, SPECIFICALLY because I detest having to look at the picture of Ruben NAVARRETTE with his column, which I wouldn't spit on much less read. In fact, all of the professional columns are worthless, only the local letters are worth anything.

So last night, the only station with local news in the middle of football was the CBS outlet, which I never watch. I was being absent minded or multi-tasking when my ears pricked up because this "reporter" was giving a full out slanted non-interview to a typical raging wingnut congresscritter (whoever succeeded Jim JORDAN). It was "Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson". This was she who was forced out, fired, or quit from CBS for her wingnut slant on Benghazi and other trash. I was going to call the news department to complain, then the station's website showed it is affiliated with the Sinclair Broadcast Group, which I knew to be a wingnut conglomeration. So my little Blue corner of the world is saturated with the Wingnut Sickness and it's pointless to complain. But my private little personal boycotts are satisfying.
