because it's true.

my son as a teenager was arrested for mouthing off to the sheriff. charges dropped, but they took him to jail nonetheless. he's still alive, but he's white.

to a street interaction between an armed police officer and a private citizen? You don’t think that’s an odd/out of left field comparison?

in how angry, defiant white men are viewed and treated vs black men are viewed and treated - even when they aren't angry and defiant - and to call out the fact that a white man's outrageously disrespectful and hostile behavior toward persons in authority is not only excused but actually praised as "righteous anger" by the same people who justify the murders of black men because they supposedly weren't deferential enough to authority figures.

The only odd thing about the comparison is that YOU think it's odd.

My aunts and uncles back , most of them gone, in Pennsylvania during the 50's and 60's in our small steel making/coal producing valley said the blacks were generally O.K. until they got "Uppity".

He understood Kavanaugh being angry, but when he began blaming Democrats and the Clinton’s, then treated the panel so sharply, that was it!

You can't believe anything Flake says. He's just getting into the news while the gettin's good. He votes the way his party and Trump tell him to almost all the time. He gets news, though, ahead of time, when he whines about not being sure.

And the news coming out is not good. Remirez gave the FBI a list today of people who back the story. This is just the first day.

Touré: The right wants Brett Kavanugh to get another chance because hey, he was just a teenager, but they also believe teenagers like Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown got what they deserved.

But yes, a black man (or woman or child) has been shot and killed for far less than being rude.
