Why are Republicans such dicks? (Part 4,212)

I've been posting this question, in various forms, for years. And I still can't grasp why Republicans are hell bent on fucking other human beings.

Is it a class thing? Do they believe that they are a privileged ruling class and that the rest of us are peasants to be used and discarded?

Why wouldn't you want people to have a decent minimum wage? Or health care? Or financial security in old age? Or a healthy environment? Or affordable housing? Or, ... well, I could go on, but you get it.

What's wrong with Republicans? Don't they have any basic human decency? Why don't they care about anyone or anything but themselves? What the fuck is wrong with them?

When it comes to issues like immigration, police brutality, voting rights, and so much more, the answer is easily explained: Racism, bigotry, and hatred of "The Other" is what it's all about with them. This sucks and they should all be sentenced to whatever hell you believe in or can think of.

When it comes to white, middle class people, racism, bigotry, and "The Other" isn't part of the equation. So what drive them? What is it? Superiority? Greed? Lust for power? Control? Entitlement? -- Beats me.

But whatever their motivations, every decent human being needs to accept the fact that Republicans are dicks. And they should never be in charge of any branch of government. Or even allowed to babysit your hamster.

Sooo, whatever their reasons or motivations, their goal seems to be to fuck all other human beings. And as far as I'm concerned, they should all be sentenced to whatever hell you believe in or can think of.

It's easy to say "hate" and "fear". But I agree with you, I don't understand why hate and fear don't lead to a desire to educate yourself, to release yourself from that hate and fear by reaching out to compassionate, tolerant people. I think for the rich, it's a case of "I"ve got mine and I don't want anybody else to get any". But so many of the Trumpsters are poor or middle class. I will never understand it.

-Women
-Atheists
-Intelligent/educated individuals
-Liberals, etc., for starters.

Agnew resigned when charged with tax evasion. He was guilty of other crimes but made a plea bargain.

Nixon resigned one jump ahead of the impeachment posse.

The repugs never got over this and have been pissed about it ever since (like it was our fault they elected crooks) and are always trying to 'get us back'.
Hence the Clinton impeachment, among other things.
