1. They've said that before. Only Flake, Collins and Murkowski count.

3. ? Brian Krassenstein is a well known & respected source

Re-rec

Whatever some believe, he has never reported anything that wasn't verified by other watchful sources.

Are there some who have push to discredit him?
Of course. There are many excellent sources like him, who have been under attack & doxxed to discredit outing by nefarious online groups.

I personally have never read anything he posted, that was unconfirmed by the vest truth hunters.

You may believe what you wish.

4. Krassenstein has way too many s's in it...re-un-rec

In seriousness, as someone else said, the four Senator's timeline is the only one that matters.

Original and reputable sources are preferred on DU.

11. Excuse me? "I see you are Learning" wow.

Krassenstein is wrong but WaPo is fine although they posted the same thing.

Save your insult.
Its really not necessary.

18. Yes.

Providing reputable sources is a good thing and deserves kudos (as opposed to posting tweets from grifters like the Krass bros and Dworkin).

10. Yes. MCTurtle is definately a loser. Krassenstein cited WaPo

Is WaPo lying?

This latest story just broke within the hr.

Indeed the sudden threat to vote this week as well as the FBI/interview issues may be a smoke screen.

Who knows.
WaPo just reported it & its being picked up on twitter, and not without some damning comments towards the manipulating Repubs.

I posted this for those who like to follow those comments as a tweet is discussed.

Thank you

12. Same guy who thought he had the votes on the ACA

He's trying to pressure his caucus and to prevent any more damaging information. I don't think it will turn out well for him.

13. I think he is perhaps wishing this would be over before they find out the criminality on himself

Russia paid McConnel, Graham & Grassley a LOT of campaign cash to finish the job GW started.

Actually I believe it was given the go ahead with GBush Sr, but the plan to put Repubs in power & GHW's second term was unexpectedly upended with the election of Bill Clinton.
Clinton won because of the minority votes.
You know, the loyal base of the Dem Party that the white Repubs have been trying to supress forever.

It all makes sense, why GW's pal Kavanaugh was promised a SC seat. He not only stopped the vote recount for GW/Gore, but was the dirtiest slanderer when the Repubs & Ken Star set out to impeach & disbar Pres Clinton.
Clinton repeesented the blacks, the hispanic, women LGHT, & minority grouos that fidn't fit the white, privileged, ownership society of the elite hardcore RW.

This showdown has been a long time in the making.

17. Your title doesn't match the title of the WaPo article

The WaPo article refers to just one Repub but you give the impression that all Repubs in the Senate are on board for voting this week.

23. Yes, yes it was.

If the OP wasn't so insistent that the tweet he linked to was accurate because the street's source was the WaPo, I wouldn't have said anything. As it were, the author of the tweet didn't accurately quote the WaPo which is what I think u were getting at.

25. The two sources say different things

It'd be more accurate to say that McConnel says that the Senate will vote this week on Kavanughs confirmation. That would be in line with what the WaPo article states.
