If their fathers teach their sons to respect women, and teach their daughters to protect themselves. When the #Metoo movement first got underway, my younger sister shared this story. She was swimming, doing laps in a pool. The creep in the next lane attempted to grope her. My sister was certified in Senior Lifesaving and Water Safety Instructor. She knew what to do, and took care of him. His only injury was to his pride, but he kept his distance from her from then on. Years earlier, when I was maybe 6 years old, and she 1.5 years younger, I was arguing with the girl across the street. The girl hit me in the face. Dad had taught me that "boys don't hit girls". I didn't need to. My sister came running. "You can't hit my brother", and knocked the girl flat.

I love and respect my sister. Every boy should grow up with sisters.
