There Is Something Big In That Report

Flake says he is having issues and wants to talk to Coons. Sasse and now Gardner are on the fence. Prediction: Moderate GOPs work very hard to get Trump to push him out. Theory: already a done deal-they protect Kavanaugh from charges and withdraw him on the condition Barrett's nomination is expedited. Expounding: Hi Chris, it's Jeff, if I vote no, will you back off Amy? Chris: I think something can be worked out if you can get the two ladies onboard the no train.

Reasoning: If Sasse and Gardner have word the vote isn't there they can keep moderate cred in their pockets for later, especially Pretty Boy Benny.

Right side of history wrong side type thing. Now as far as polls-they bounce, Marist is at six, but IBD I am not taking seriously. Rule no. 1 of polls-THE POLL is the headline, not the spin. Already saying Kavanaugh is backfiring on Dems, unlikely, is spin. The dynamics of this election have not changed. The top issue is corruption. Nothing about this does anything other than reinforce the point. GOTV.

When the 8 people who could corroborate Ford's statement weren't even interviewed you know this is not a complete report since the fucking moron stopped it!

tis' wise not to scream "He's not in the closet!" It seems to me all of the editing confers some kind of guilt, not dismisses it.

But he's significantly unpopular and there's an election right around the corner and the investigation was a sham. The FBI didn't, or was barred from, interviewing anybody relevant. Best case scenario, it's the Trump administration trying to ram the guy through that will piss off voters. Worst case scenario, they are pushing through a criminal scumbag and that will really bite them in the ass because there is a lot of Democratic anger and a high likelihood of Democrats having subpoena power starting in January. Deep down, they know victims don't lie. Deep down, people don't like sexual assault. The longer this goes, the more it has the chance to get into their heads.

accuser in sexual assault cases. They buy into the myth that lying scheming liberal women are trying to bring down upstanding, honorable conservative men. There are all kinds of fake rumors circulating among conservatives out there questioning Flake's story and life. Just check any conservative's Facebook page. Or read conservative comments online. There's a major industry out there churning out smoke and mirrors to give conservatives cover in their support of Kavanaugh.

But when Sasse and Gardner are considered moderates that partly explains our current state of affairs.

That said, your analysis is interesting and plausible.

...if this speculation is true? And she'd get to be a lock, that might be the bargain?

UGGHHHHHHH

Which do I hate worst? Rapists, or Theocrats?

Since Fundies' life's work seems to be forcing all impregnated rape victims to bear their rapists' children, that"s actually a bit tough. But, no, wait... Kav wants to do that, too.

Argh. Excruciating, but yeah, even I would take The Handmaids Tale woman.

If it was clean, they'd have made it public, or at least given every senator a copy to take their time reading. They wouldn't have put out one copy, given them an hour, and required the document be kept in a secure room. It has screamed "cover up" from the get-go.
