The Paul Ryan decision- exactly the same as Caribou Barbie

The "inside gossip" is that Romney made this decision on his own. The campaign wanted to make it look like Romney is a strong decisionmaker.

i don't believe that for one second. The campaign realized that they were losing big and made the decision earlier than was expected. Romney was falling so fast that they knew they were close to the abyss.

Their hand was forced and they had to make a bold move and change the discussion. They had to have a "game changer".

If they were close the choice would have been Portman.

Ultimately this will fail. No one votes for the VP and they didn't need to energize the base. They were all voting no matter what as the hate for Obama is so strong that they were motivated.

and it's all negative and will remain that way for the rest of August. How rmoney didn't see this coming is astoundingly tone def.
