Devin Nunes escalates war against Fresno Bee with 'unprecedented' 38-page mailer

Constituents in Congressman Devin Nunes' district may find a curious campaign mailer on their doorsteps or in their mailboxes this week.

That mailer isn't attacking his opponent in the November election or promoting the eight-term congressman's accomplishments, though.

The glossy 38-page, full-color magazine titled "The Fresno Bees: The dirty little secrets of the Valley's propaganda machine" contains criticisms of the McClatchy-owned newspaper's coverage of Nunes.

The first sign the mailer isn't your normal political advertisement: Its cover depicts a cartoonish sinking ship full of Kool-Aid-swilling bees — the sea littered with "Resist," "Socialism," and "Antifascist" signs.

Attacking the media seems to be the Republican thing these days.

I'm sure the rethugs will dump as much money and help to keep him right where he is. He's been a dutiful lap dog, he needs to be rewarded.

So maybe agricultural issues are no longer that important to him since he risks no loss?

11. Yes, and Janz is pointing out the hypocrisy of the Nunes farm hiring undocumented labor.

Even Andrew Janz, the 34-year-old Democratic prosecutor running against Nunes, says “everyone in the district has known” the family farm moved to Iowa years ago. However, he thinks voters will take issue with the “hypocrisy” he sees in the Nunes family hiring undocumented immigrants while Nunes champions hardline anti-immigration policies. “People want to make sure we have a congressman that is not hypocritical. In this circumstance, we have one who has sided with Trump on every immigration policy, including separating families and deporting undocumented immigrants,” Janz says. “But somehow Devin and his family don’t have a problem hiring undocumented workers.”

It's not much since I'm going to try and send money to many who face a tough race but I'll send something.

All cults seek to discredit all sources of information outside the cult.
The Fox Cult of Disinformation works because those immersed in it believe all other news sources are lying. Fox feeds this explicitly or implicitly with every show. The cult members evangelize the cult.

Repuke Nunes is applying the party tool. This will work for those caught in the cult. They will regurgitate whatever is fed to them to anyone they can.
