Conspiracy theory, "They" will use Kavanaugh as the reason for their miracle wins in the ...

.... upcoming elections but in truth they will "win" because of those God damn
electronic voting machines*. But we can't give up so we have to do the following:

1) Show up and vote in massive #s.

b) Vote early!

iii) Where possible vote on paper.

4) Volunteer to do election protection work if you can.

I don't won't to hear on CNN or MSNBC they day after the election about how the
cruel way the Democrats treated Judge Kavanaugh during his hearings brought
out the republican base which will be the republican talking point to explain their
unexpected victories.

* Look @ the 2015 KY's governor's race. The Dem who was the State’s A.G. or Sec. of State was +5 or 6 points
up lost by 9 points ….. a 14 point swing and the reason “they” gave was the awful treatment of Kim “I ain’t gonna
give a wedding license to no gays” Davis and that turned out the vote. McConnell is well aware of the vote rigging
by the GOP.

The fix is in. 2016 was a preview for future elections. GOP will never surrender power and they will use whatever means possible including help from our enemies - Russia.

.... seen in Florida's 2000 vote we can see a red state shift in the vote outcomes that
did not and still does not match to changes in the demographics and in the wants and
needs of the majority of Americans. HAVA made America vote on electronic voting
machines and after that the exit polls stopped matching the election results. Exit polls
had Hillary Clinton easily winning the White House.

They act as if they have nothing to fear from the midterms, despite all evidence to the contrary. As if they're sure we'll all wake up once again to another "greatest election upset in U.S. history!", with TV pundits wondering once again, "how could the polls have been so wrong?", and "what mistakes did the Democrats make?", and sending reporters to the hinterlands to interview folks in a cafe etc. etc. etc.

It will take not a wave but a tsunami to overcome the huge numerical advantage the GOP enjoys due to voter suppression, gerrymandering, aid from foreign enemies of the U.S., and possible voting-machine rigging.

So, a tsunami there must be.

And our "liberal media" will do the GOP's bidding w/stories like "Did the Democrats
mistreatment of Kavanaugh help the republicans to retain power?"

Good God in butter if Trump's "Bund Rallies" are a sure sign that we are in very dangerous
times.

Sadly, we've seen this show before. Have we not?

2010.

2014, where the Republican Senate won all nine of the "too close to call" races. All. Nine. What are the odds?

2016.

The babbling heads juice up the story by claiming the Democrats, "just didn't show up to vote" even though the gross Democratic Congressional vote is in the millions larger than the Republican vote. By around 2 million.

Are you and I the only people who realize this?

Due to demographics, the Republicans should not be able to win a majority, but, here we are in a one party minority Government in all three branches.

It is said fish stinks after three days and it looks like rigged elections stink after three mid-terms.

10. Look at Scott Walker's wins in Wisconsin.

I followed the recall and the vote closely and you had red rural counties in
N.W. Wisconsin having more signatures for his recall then voted for Walker
in the prior gubernatorial election but somehow he won?

The Republicans have built a convoluted election rigging "machine" via gerrymandering, suppression, and outright intimidation.

But, it is a flimsy house of cards and slowly they have come to realize it's vulnerability.

Having that worthless and genuinely unlikable Trump as POTUS is threatening the whole set up and I believe it is why they needed a shiny new JOTSCOTUS to shore things up. However, Dumbolini nominated Kavagnaw even after McConnell told him not to for reasons (of course) based on his own self interests. Keeping himself and his spawn out of jail and in bank.

So, the Republicans were faced with the Sophie's Choice of voting to confirm someone they really didn't like in order to preserve their machine to remain in power.

I think this is what Flake was referring to when he said they'd hit bottom. However, we Democrats know with the Trumpster... There is no bottom. They haven't learned this obvious fact, yet. Republicans are kind of slow on the uptake, it would seem.

kids in the neighborhood, supported education, civil rights, infrastructure, unions,
and he was great guy. He was a republican too.

I'm in agreement w/Norman Ornstein that Mitch McConnell is a traitor to America
and all these elections where the republicans have surprise "wins" are traitors
too. This cramming through Kavanaugh, refusing to hear from any corroborating
witnesses for Ms. Ford, and then to have Trump go and strut in front of one his
bund rallies is just chilling.

Morning Joy just had a clip of Trump in front of his last rally smiling as the idiots chanted
lock her up.

they can do some stupid shit like declare the election illegitimate (because of that "Chinese meddling" and install who fucking knows what in congress.

Hey, remember when most Republicans were basically decent people? That ended a long time ago, but there was a time when the party was filled with actual human beings.
