suffering a dislocation in his right shoulder joint and a tear of the labrum and rotator cuff
He had a great recovery, is a great human being and left a lot of fans back in SD with no one saying anything bad about him but at the time I don't see how they keep both and it wouldn't have made sense to release Rivers.
