How did Conye West get that cell phone into the Oval Office?
I didn't think that was kosher.
Bueller?

3. two questions about this photo
Why does Trump always have that "fake fake stupid grin" on his face?..
and Why is Kellyanne sitting IN THE OVAL on the couch with her feet on the couch tucked under her butt like she is at a sorority pillow fight? |

5. They don't automatically take your cell phone when you enter the White House
There are really strict security checks, but I have never heard of someone being asked to give up their cell phone. I wasn't exactly there on a daily basis, of course, and I don't know if the protocols have changed since Obama left office. But that was how it was while Obama was in office.

6. Cell phones are allowed in the white house and even in the Oval Office
They aren't allowed in designated secure facilities in the building or in rooms during classified briefings. Classified information was not being shared during this meeting, so cell phones weren't a problem.

8. The room was filled with media.
Recording everything. Why would anyone care about a cell phone?
