The @realDonaldTrump Foundation doesn't have the $ to pay the $!M pledge to Warren

@Fahrenthold, 6h6 hours ago

The @realDonaldTrump Foundation can't pay off this $1M pledge. It's prohibited from spending $ while the NY A.G. is suing it. And it doesn't have the money, anyway: it's down to $970K.
If POTUS is going to pay this, it's got to be his own $.

Trump said he was worth something like $10B.

$1M is 1/10,000th of his "net worth".

This is like one of his rube followers who might have a net worth of $10,000 losing a $1 bar bet.

Or maybe some of his more well heeled idiot followers with a net worth of $100,000 losing $10.

What's the big deal?

He doesn't want to spend it cuz he's got it all hidden:

- The theocrats and other buyers-of-government are busy paying fake charities with accounts at Alfa Bank
- Dahnnie's got offshore attorneys that manage those accounts, which are all located offshore.
- Dahnnie's an American citizen, and Alfa's a rooskie bank. Russia doesn't give a damn if he doesn't report those accounts. And he ain't breaking any laws there.
- Of course, he should report those accounts to the IRS, but Kakanaugh will excuse him from that.

So as long as he doesn't spend any Alfa Bank dough, he's got the scam locked.
