Pelosi Not Willing to Trade Over Border Wall, Calls It Trump 'Manhood Issue'

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Tuesday there is nothing she would trade for President Donald Trump’s border wall, setting a hard negotiating stance in advance of an expected December showdown over the issue.

“It happens to be like a manhood issue for the president, building a wall, and I’m not interested in that,” the California Democrat said during a discussion at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Institute of Politics.

Pelosi emphasized Democrats do support border security but they would prefer to look at strengthening existing security measures as part of a comprehensive overhaul of immigration laws.

It must be an insignificant issue then . I love Nancy but want to see a different speaker if we take the house, a younger one, and I am old. We don't need to give them Nancy to beat around. I think if the Democrats came out and said Nancy would not be the speaker before the November election it would actually help us.

Until then she is hard wired for the job in this crucial moment.

She stays until this govt is back on course.

He's such an easy target, especially for women I suspect, but he doesn't expect it from women who need to maintain some dignity.

Us being deferential in favor or cordiality is now seen as weakness by both men and women.

But not ours. And business and other nations are actually often on our side in these right-wing extremist days. They put a high premium on behaving and cooperating to achieve their goals, and Trump may be the only "businessman" in America who bizarrely imagines this is a zero-sum world.

jailing children. splitting up families. criminalizing legitimate refugees.

it's not just all these casual racists calling the police on black people that reveal how thoroughly racism is ingrained into our society.

fight it.

Don’t feed the stereotype.
Young men growing up are making choices about their political party. How is a Dem leader mocking Twitler for his manhood” helpful?

Any young men who are offended by mocking that thing in our White House are already supportive of the rantings of that thing in our White House.

Twitler, and all who support him, should be mocked incessantly.

Is manhood wholly pejorative now? If so, someone tell Webster's. Why even go there? But Pelosi can do no wrong with many people here, no matter how badly she misfires.

Month after month of Attorney General Avenatti parading RICH REPUBLICAN BUSINESSMEN in orange jumpsuits, on their way to prison, in front of the press will be FAR MORE EFFECTIVE than sinking to tRump's level and talking about everything in terms of dicks and pussies.
