Ignoring human rights violations for a perceived "greater good" can never be accepted

To me the scariest thing about the disappearance of Khashoggi is when Trump immediately brought up the 110 billion in arms sales with the Saudis when asked about the reporter's disappearance. In that moment, he seemed to be weighing money against human rights, assessing the value of person's life to a perceived greater good, not what our American ideals are about.

We shall see what happens as this matter unfolds, but I'm not very confident that money won't "trump" human rights when it comes down to it.

As Americans we can not accept anything that puts money over human rights, heaven help us if we ever start.

until it's the killing is on a massive scale and can't be stopped anymore, at least easily. Rump, as leader of our country and thus one to shepherd American values for life, has clearly shown that money talks and nothing else does matter. Figures. rump is using the office of the presidency as a springboard for corruption and graft, no less. It's funny that Jared K. just went to SA too, before this all happened. This clearly should be investigated, and investigated heavily. I just find it impossible to believe that these things happened on a purely by chance basis, and feel like (1) Jared conveyed illegally obtained confidential information to the Saudi (2) and then Mr. K was killed (3) a special hit team came to Turkey prior to all of this happening, so how did they know he was going into the SA consulate to obtain a marriage license? How? In advance no less.

The monarchy of SA has in the past, been in a precarious position being that it is in SA that the seat (one of the main ones) of Islam, is Mecca, among other locations in SA. Murderers. So desperate to retain their grip on power.

Profits and killing those who don't share your views.

War is very profitable and human rights have been abandoned - ask George W Bush and Cheney. Torture is good.
It's all a fucking mess.
