I'm Still Fuming about Kavanaugh!

Am I the only one that still believes Christine Blasey Ford??! I feel like the turd got voted into the Senate and everyone is just wiping their hands clean of the issue! No one seems to be out there saying that Kavanaugh is unrighteously on The Supreme Court! It's like everyone believes him... not just Republicans but EVERYONE! I've seen some Democrats on TV who seem to have bought into the Republicans claim that this whole thing was a democratic hoax!

Idon't get it! I want to scream from the rooftops that the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary committee had already planned on voting yes for Kavanaugh even before the investigation! And the Republicans didn't even want an investigation...they got cornered into doing it! And when they finally did investigate, it wasn't a complete investigation! And of course Kavanaugh's friend Mark Judge is going to lie about it because Brett is his friend. And also if Judge told the truth, that would implicate him of something unlawful as well! And her friend Leland never said she wasn't at the gathering... she just said she doesn't remember it. And why would she remember an uneventful (from her perspective) gathering from 35 years ago??! And it's so obvious that Kavanaugh just came up with excuses for all his misogynistic remarks in his yearbook to show that his remarks were not what everyone thought they were about. And there is no way it was a case of mistaken identity on the part of Ford because she knew who Kavanaugh was before it happened! And when the rethugs on the committee say that the investigative report shows holes in Ford's testimony, how do we know that they're not lying when they say that??! They wanted Kavanaugh so badly even after Ford came out with her accusations and before the investigation so why should we believe them when they say the report does not validate Ford's accusations??!

If I'm this livid, I can't imagine how Ms Ford must feel!!!

Following the Kavanaugh confirmation the 94 yo mormon prophet of God told his women (only the women) to abstain from getting together and sharing their pain and horror via social media. Both sides feel threatened. And old men only have old tricks like intimidation and God-sanctioned female oppression.

My Mormon friend didn't know why I was upset over the new ladycensoring commandment. But he says he is pro woman and wants to understand. No he doesn't watch the news. Didn't watch the testimony. 'How was it?' he asked me. Get back to me when you're woke I'm too depressed for your privileged apathy right now.

I believe Dr. Ford and most people believe her. But those who benefit from dishonesty or indifference have said they don't, and the men make the rules in America!

And add another thing to the list of knowing that Ford is telling the truth... she listed the people who were at the gathering BEFORE Kavanaugh's calendar came out which listed the same people!! And it makes me so mad that the Republicans are getting away with saying this whole thing was a democratic hoax!!

19. Okay, I don't usually do this,

and I am often suspicious of people who say they do. However,

I went to the nail salon today. It is the same place I have been going for ten years.

The nail tech sitting behind me, a fiftyish Asian gentleman with perfect English, begin speaking to his client and a few women who were waiting. He was speaking about Kavanaugh. He stated that he believed Kavanaugh. He said something probably happened to Dr. Ford, but it was someone else, not Kavanaugh. He said she was confused, and why did she wait thirty years anyway.

I had had enough. I turned around and said, very loudly, "When that happens to a woman, and she is acquainted with the person, she KNOWS who did it. And why did she wait thirty years? Most women NEVER tell. You are dead wrong."

I know perfectly well he heard me. But he said to his client, "What did she say?" The woman repeated my words. The place went dead quiet.

Seriously, a man who works primarily with women would say that?

When the young woman had finished my pedicure, she said the man over there would do my manicure. I said, "Which one?" She indicated the other gentleman, not the asshole. I said okay.

A couple of minutes later, the asshole walked past me, muttering that he read his newspaper, and that was all he knew. I gave him the dirtiest look I could muster.

I will continue going to this business, because they do a good job and are generally pleasant. But that asshole will never touch my nails.

I am not sure how I feel about Avenatti, but he is right about one thing: BASTA!

I did other things today. I gave campaign buttons to a youngish Democratic gentleman, and told him about a Meet the Candidates event next week. I discussed early voting with him. I recruited an election judge. We need Democratic election judges quite badly in my area.
