For those on Twitter, never hesitate to report violent, abusive, threatening tweets.

I alerted on someone last night. This is the fastest I've heard back from Twitter:

An update on your report

Thanks again for letting us know. Our investigation found this account violated the Twitter Rules: (I removed identifying info).

We appreciate your help in improving everyone’s experience on Twitter. You can learn more about reporting abusive behavior here.

1. I alert on anti-semitic posts all of the time

And nothing ever gets taken down. There is a well-known anti-Semite who has a blue checkmark and I keep alerting on his insinuations about Jews and nothing is done, and he still has his blue checkmark!

2. Also, don't be shy about calling twitter out for not removing hate posters

They're under fire right now and we're finally winning there. Keep the pressure on them, please.

3. OK, but the MAGAbomber was reported to Twitter and Twitter did nothing.

I agree that if you can't live without Twitter, you should report that stuff, but I can happily live without Twitter and have no desire to put money in their vile pockets.

4. I understand your point, but it's my understanding that unless I actually

buy something advertised, I'm not supporting them.

I use an alias on Twitter also.

6. No. You support them by being an eye that looks at the ads. If you use

Twitter, you are financially supporting Twitter.

They are not paid by sales of the advertisers' products. They are paid by numbers of eyes that see the ads.

5. Good idea.

I don't tweet. Seems to me some of these tweets should be/should HAVE been reported to FBI.
