Legendary singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett will be hosting a free concert in support of Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson and Democratic gubernatorial nominee Andrew Gillum this weekend.

The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday at Meyer Amphitheatre in downtown West Palm Beach at 2:30 pm, according to a post from Gillum’s campaign.

“Join us in West Palm Beach for a GOTV concert to energize Democrats and Parrot Heads across the state,” the post reads.

Jimmy did a free concert for Graham's daughter, Gwen Graham, before Gillum won the primary.

Now he's giving his support to Gillum.

11. My First Date With My Wife Was a Buffett Concert In 1978

At the County Bowl in Santa Barbara. He was always liberal to middle of the road in his beliefs, but a strong progressive when it comes to the Environment. Saving the Mantatees was his biggest environmental effort, along with the Everglades. In fact, we listened to the end of his last concert of the year from Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago. His closing words were about saving the one and only Planet we have.
I wish we could be there.
The best Buffett concert we ever saw was on my wife’s birthday in 2007 at the Filmore in San Francisco. We were right up to the stage, and so close, we would have been able to hear him sing even if his 🎤 was off.

Strangely, Margaritaville seems to be doing alright in spite of Buffett being a laid-back manatee hugger (with a waterbed).
