As memories of Lee Atwater's infamous Willie Horton ad are thrust into our heads once again today...

....let us remember he had business partners.



One of these men is now a convicted felon in prison.

One of these men is almost certain to be indicted on multiple charges in a matter of weeks, if not days.

And one of these men died of a brain tumor while expressing at least some "regrets" on his deathbed for his past actions.

Amazing how Atwater somehow comes out comparatively best among the three in terms of legacy.

He was an irredeemable piece of shit. I don't buy into the revisionism of a repentant Lee Atwater.
