Former Florida GOP chairman goes nuclear on 'despicable' Trump for new racist ad

resident Donald Trump’s new ad portraying immigrants as psychotic killers has drawn widespread condemnation — and now the former chairman of the Florida Republican Party is calling him out on it.

Reacting to Trump’s ad, former Florida GOP Chairman Al Cardenas condemned the president for launching divisive, bigoted attacks on immigrants.

The ad, which has drawn comparisons to the infamous Willie Horton ad during the 1988 presidential campaign, has similarly been condemned by some other conservatives, Link to tweet

And as Link to tweet
" target="_blank">CNBC’s John Harwood points out, Trump’s decision to post the ad on his own Twitter page is particularly noteworthy because the “Bush campaign distanced itself from the Willie Horton TV ad,” whereas “this is coming directly from the President of the United States.”
