Watched the second half of the 11th hour

Brian Williams, and the rest of them, have knowledgeable, thinking guests. Yes, including Republicans. He had Mike Murphy. And I was thinking that all of them try to fit Whiny Donny into rational behavior and thinking and, of course, he does not. Even if he tried, the deplorables would be disappointed.

He actually whined that the pipe bombs sent by his supporter to his "enemies," and the shooting of Jews interfered with his elections momentum. (Or something). But this is the way he behaves.

And there are many former Republicans who lament of the outcome of their former party. Except - the leaders did not have any choice. They really hated him throughout the primaries, certain that at some point he would drop. They also hated his close rival - Ted Cruz. But the "people have spoken" and he was the candidate. And he was elected - let's leave the Russians aside now. So the Republican leadership had to fall in step.

And, he nominated conservatives judges - many to lower courts before the Kavanaugh disgrace. And he signed their tax bill so they are happy.

Whether, as many predict, this will bring the Blue Wave - I can only hope that this will happen.

No whataboutism

No panels of arguing guests

He features the top print reporters each day, and top commenters on the presidency.

It's calm, and he's witty and very well informed.

He weaves it all together and puts things in context.

Very much worth staying up for or recording.

grateful that as retirees, we can afford to sleep until 9:00 am (please don't hate me).

And I do admire all the East Coasters guests for whom it is really late in the day.
