I lived there for 24 years. Democratic voter outreach is unbelievable, dating to 2006 when Harry Reid really fortified the operation with eye on his difficult midterm cycle approaching in 2010. Reid understood the GOP would try to embarrass him with a late-career defeat.

The difference between 2006 and 2002 was incredible.

Granted, Clark County is a condensed area and you can basically dictate the statewide outcome by dominating that small region. But once I moved back to Miami nearly a decade ago it is sad how pathetic the Democratic operation is in Miami-Dade County, compared to Clark County. The GOP is easily better organized and relentless here.

Early voting in Nevada is also much easier than in Florida. They use major shopping malls and have something like 80 or 90 early voting locations in Clark County.
