Marco Rubio mocks defenders of birthright citizenship, gets reminded why he's a U.S. citizen

Donald Trump lackey Marco Rubio decided it would be a good idea to mock criticism of the white supremacist in chief’s recent attack on birthright citizenship, tweeting Friday that “history will remember this as the week liberal politicians and legal ‘scholars’ transformed into constitution originalists”:

Trump’s call to end birthright citizenship was part of his candidacy from the start, but he didn’t bring it up again in this manner until a week before the midterms. Aside from the basic fact that a president can’t overturn a constitutional right with an executive order those same Republicans oh-so-hated during the Obama era, Marco is also a, surprise, giant fucking hypocrite:

I'm sure they remember (or have been told by their elders) how they came to be born and naturalized in the United States.

before he was born. The focus of the repub attack on birthright citizenship is actually very narrow -- children born in the US to parents where neither parent was a citizen or had legal, permanent residence status at the time.

pick our crops, process our meat products, clean our motel rooms, put roofs on our homes, do landscaping for us and cleanup work in our plants and factories, and that keep Devin Nunes' family dairy running.

And, they've been doing this work for many decades and paid their fair share of taxes.

Just THOSE people.......

But HE became a U.S. citizen simply by BEING born in the U.S.

If the "problem" with the 14th Amendment is that is the children of non-U.S. citizens in the U.S. can become a U.S. citizen just by being born, the "solution" HAS to apply to ALL non-U.S. citizen parents in the U.S. -- otherwise, it can't possibly be constitutional.

So if you truly don't believe in U.S. birthright citizenship, either renounce yours or STFU, senator.

Who included a provision in the omnibus bill in late 2015 , raising the premiums sky high for ACA insured people right before the 2016 election in Sept. then blamed the Democrats with trump it was a bad insurance, and was failing falsely. People of Florida want someone who'll do that to millions of people in their state are fools. He and Trump want to destroy all health care, and want now to destroy Social Security. They've already taken billions out of Medicare , and Social Security, but don't want people to realize that now before this elections.

it would work well as one of her "teaser" segments where they come out of commercial, she's speaks for about 10 seconds and they go back to commercial.
