I don't like the fact that MSNBC Hosts (and possibly other networks) keep announcing the number

of votes which have been cast for each of the parties thus far. I don't remember this happening in past years. I think it may make some people think they can stay home if they think one party is running away with the vote already. Also, it may invite Trump to call on Putin and others to manipulate the numbers particularly since many of the elected officials responsible for maintaining the voting machines are Repugs and we know that they've done nothing since the last election to protect the integrity of our voting systems. I just don't think it serves any useful purpose to be disseminating this information at this time. Someone tell me why I'm wrong to be concerned about this.

but who the hell KNOWS who votes have already been CAST for?

States doing numbers, every day? More likely, numbers reflect ### people who showed up AND their registration/identity: I'm a Dem in MD, and will vote Tuesday.

Besides why do we care? We know the media will say and do whatever for viewership. We know what is happening on the ground and fullscale panic the Gop and trump is in.
