2. Those numbers give me hope, but I can think of at least 2 things which make me less sanguine...

The first is that voting rates in that age group are starting at such a low point that even massive % increases don't necessarily translate to massive absolute numbers of votes.

The second is that a lot of the guys in Charlottesville, a lot of the Proud Boys, and Jacob Wohl all fall into that demographic too. We really don't know which young people are the ones doing the voting.

Polls show that millennials are overwhelmingly Democratic, the women by a huge percentage and even the men by a smaller margin. No way these huge numbers are coming only from alt-righters (a.k.a. Nazis).

They are PISSED OFF, to say the least.
They are all voting, or have already voted, Democratic party.
