I'm a Democrat, and I honestly and truly think strong conservatives who imagine they can insult me with that noble word and concept are emotionally, intellectually and morally handicapped.

Btw, you remember what Jefferson, Madison, et al, did when Hamiltonians tried to turn "democrat" into an insult and insisted on calling them that, don't you? They renamed their Republican Party the Democratic-Republican Party.
