This is a first: I got a 'report card' from the Center for Voter Information

It compares how my voting participation compares with other voters in my state. It seems that I am ABOVE AVERAGE. Well, when it comes to voting, anyway.

It was the 1998 midterms. I was at college and didn't know about absentee voting.

I've voted in every election since then. Voted about a month ago in this year.

(Prior to 1998, I was not an eligible voter).

It's disheartening.

Never seen this before. Both come from "Forward Majority" which is further described as Forward Majority Action 527 FL PAC, PO BOX 15293, Washington, DC 20003.

Also on the return address is "You Should Know FL, 4530 S. Orange Blossom Trail #539, Orlando, FL 32839

They are slightly different. One gave me an "A" grade and the other "Excellent"

It is apparently based on general election participation beginning in 2012. The flyer lists whether the person voted each time, followed by a ? in the 2018 box.

The listed criteria is:

* You have been graded on your voter performance in the general elections for which you are eligible to vote. The grading scale is as follows: "A" (Missed 0), "B" (Missed 1), "C" (Missed 2), "D" (Missed 3).

Same criteria on the one with "Excellent" on top. The other grades are "Good" for Missing 1 and "Below Average" for Missing 2. Strangely that one didn't have a description if you missed all 3.

Hey, I'm discovering something as I type this. I actually only received one of them. The one with "Excellent" was wrongly delivered. It is addressed to my neighbor. I didn't notice that last night while going through a huge batch of mail from my 16 day trip.

The one addressed to me says on the other side that, "The average voting grade in your neighborhood is B."

This is in suburban Miami
