What races are you following because they're delicious, interesting, personal, or for no reason?

I know we're all following the headliner races and races like Steve King's in Iowa.

What races are YOU following, for any reason whatsoever?

Two in particular have caught my interest. Top of the list is Abigail Spanberger against Dave Brat in Virginia 7. It is personal for a reason I choose not to reveal.

In a local race, I was prepared to vote for the same Democrat I have for several cycles, even as he has been cozying sup to the GOP county exec. Back in the summer a neighbor knocked on my door and told me about the candidate for whom he was volunteering. She is a single mom, a lawyer, and a civil engineer, running in the Dem primary for the first time against the incumbent Dem. We decided to support her with $$ and time. She won the primary by ONE vote. And by sheer serendipity, she and my daiughter-in-law have the same first and last names.

What are yours?

I really like the idea (very possible) of having 2 female Democratic US Senators representing this state

I'm interested in that one as well as the TX Senate.

I'm also VA-7 because I live in VA-7.

and now get to vote in a nicely compact district which looks as if it could go D this time. If that happens, it will qualify as delicious for sure.

I am hoping we sweep the board. But we need to rid Iowa of its best known bigot.
And Iowa's idiot governor.
