To protect the rest of the world from our certain Americans, because it's not immigrants or refugees shooting up schools, churches, synagogues, movie theaters, music festivals, IHOPs, yoga studios, etc.

And also to protect the rest of the world from our super-expensive healthcare needs. We spend so much on healthcare but get so little in return, we can't expose other countries to the problems in our healthcare system, and there's clearly some delusion involved since our Republican legislators think it's the "greatest healthcare system in the world".
