A few questions about BETO

Let's say Beto has cash left over from this campaign, and he doesn't win. Would he be able to keep those funds and continue "a conversation with Texas" in order to mount a 2020 campaign against Cornyn?

Could Beto possibly use those funds to run for POTUS in 2020?

In a way, I see BETO in a win/win situation.
A)He could win against Rafael on Tuesday and be in the US Senate, or
B) he could keep his high profile and offer himself to be on a ticket in 2020. I think Castro from Texas is planning to run, but anybody who is not running should strongly consider putting Beto on the ticket.
C)He could run in 2020 where I am almost sure he would be formidable against Cornyn.

I’ve received 3 fundraising emails today alone. There’s nothing they can do with any money donated now that would impact Tuesday in a meaningful way. I think Beto is looking toward the next chapter should he fall short.

Some campaigns spend until the last minute assuming that fundraising will continue until the last minute. A few campaigns wind up in the red after election day; many are conservative in their budgeting and have surpluses.

Don't know enough to make a prediction about O'Rourke.
